Meeting point TirolBerg: at the Alpine Skiing World Championships in Garmisch Partenkirchen the TirolBerg will again be an attraction for sports stars, the media, businesspeople and, for the first time, for Tirolean fans.
For the past ten years the Tirol has used the TirolBerg for warm hospitality. In 2011 the TirolBerg is taking as its motto winter sports culture and the excellent neighbourly relations with Bavaria.
n a superlative marquee, a TirolBerg with an entirely new design, the Tirol Tourist Board will be setting new criteria together with its partner regions St. Anton am Arlberg, Ischgl, Sölden, Kitzbühel and the Seefeld Arena. At the 500 sq. metre site in a central location in the World Championship Park there is room for some 300 visitors to enjoy Tirolean "Gemütlichkeit". So that as many fans as possible can experience the Skiing World Championships at the gateway to the Tirol a fan area is being installed in front of the TirolBerg and visitors will be pampered with Tirolean specialities.
